Solidify Your Purpose For The Best Year Ever

You have declared this year to be the best year for both your business and life. What you want now is not what you thought you wanted when you launched your business. Your entire focus has changed but your vision hasn’t.
What’s a small business owner to do?
Start by reviewing your past actions.
- What did you do to generate revenue?
- What did you do to keep in touch with your clients?
- What was your message to potential clients?
- What did you do to build alliances?
- How much time did you spend enjoying what you accomplished?
Now think about results.
- What worked needs to be the first thing you start this year?
- What surprised you most because of results or lack of results?
- What should be done differently this year?
- What should be scraped and never tried again?
Now take a look at your mission statement. Does it still speak about what drives you? Has your purpose changed as well? If it has, rewrite your mission statement so that it speaks about what drives you now.
Revise your vision statement to reflect the changes in your focus so that you are actually working to achieve what you truly want.
Now state your goals. Define exactly what you want to achieve and by when.
